How to use
- Press New song until a seed grabs you, or type any word into Seed. The same seed and settings always give the same song.
- Set the key, minor flavour, tempo and target length. Dembow is the straight perreo groove; Half-time lays it back; Mixed keeps verses half-time and choruses full.
- Shape the arrangement: pick a section, change its type, bars, chords and which parts play. Use ↑ ↓ to reorder, Duplicate to extend, and New melody to rewrite that section's lead line.
- Press Play. Turn on Loop section to repeat the selected section while you write lyrics over the lead. The lead is a vocal guide: follow its rhythm and contour, then make it yours.
- Balance the parts in the Mixer, then export a WAV to sing over, or MIDI to open in a DAW and replace the sounds.
Everything is synthesized in your browser: oscillators, noise, filters, a generated reverb and a compressor. No samples, and nothing is sent anywhere. The music is generated from the seed, so what you make with it is yours.
